Read to Succeed

The Lions Club of Sonora program provides students with the opportunity earn tickets for reading during the month of February.  Those tickets are used in a drawing to give away a Kindle Fire to one student per grade level.  Student get excited to read and work very hard all month to earn tickets.  During the month of February Jamestown and Chinese Camp students read a total of 1,372 books and took a test on the book in Accelerated Reader.  This had been a great motivation for students this year.
